Financing Special Education in New Jersey: NJSBAs Study of Costs and Practices

When looking at the cost of public education, one factor is consistently stressed special education. NJSBA has concluded a year-long study of special education funding and practices in New Jersey schools.  Our researchers will describe their findings on the major cost drivers, local versus state funding, placement and classification trends, and exemplary programs.
