School Board Candidates Briefing

The state's county school boards associations, in cooperation with the New Jersey School Boards Association, will sponsor regional programs for local school board candidates in March 2007.  The programs address the structure and responsibilities of local school boards in New Jersey.  Participants will receive information on topics, such as policy-making, school administration, school finance and budgeting, school‑community relations, collective bargaining, and relations among the board, superintendent and staff.
