Today’s students face greater challenges than ever due to a dramatically accelerated pace of life, economic pressures on parents, and a pervasive culture of advertising, digital media and violence.  The Developing Safe and Civil Schools program is designed to build local educational resources for improving Social-Emotional and Character Development in participating schools by improving the effective coordination. The program adds value to schools by building students’ skills for success, developing students’ character and preventing student problem behaviors.  Join us for a presentation by one of the most knowledgeable leaders in Character Education.

Featured Speaker:
Dr. Maurice Elias—Rutgers University professor and psychologist and author of numerous articles and books on emotional intelligence, including Raising Emotionally Intelligent Teenagers and Emotionally Intelligent Parenting.
