Wecome to SCSBA

The membership of the Sussex County School Boards Association (SCSBA) is made up of all 27 constituent school districts in the county. The goal of SCSBA is to enhance the skills and knowledge of local board of education members throughout Sussex County. SCSBA serves as a forum for the exchange of information and ideas and as a catalyst to expedite and initiate action.

Providing excellent networking opportunities, events are open to board members and administrators of SCSBA consitituent districts and feature experts from the New Jersey School Boards Association, the Department of Education, school board administrators and superintendents.

The County Association Leadership has been diligently working to provide timely and informative programs. The CAL officers would like to invite NJSBA memebrs to attend any county meetings, not just their home County's programs. Please take a moment to view upcoming meetings in neighboring counties.

YOUR COUNTY ASSOCIATION LEADERSHIP
Charles T. Miller Vice President for County Activities	To help you in your role as a board member, each of the twenty-one counties has an association that offers educational programs and information close-to-home. County School Boards Associations work hand-in-hand with NJSBA and are comprised of all school board members in your county. County Associations are led by officers from local school districts. Your County Association president and vice presidents are also part of another important link to the state Association through the County Association Leadership or CAL. CAL meets three times a year to network, share ideas, learn more about statewide issues and work on leadership skills.
