A Pre-K-12 system with approximately 2600 students is seeking an experienced, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic candidate for the position of:
BUSINESS ADMINISTRATOR
Requisite-Certification, experience and skill set for candidates:
- NJ Business Administrator's Certificate or Certificate of Eligibility
- Experience as Business Administrator or Assistant BA
- Excellent computer skills
- Experience with GAAP Accounting as GASB
- Experience with Uniform Chart of Accounts and School Budgeting process
- Experience with Evaluation and Management of staff
- Experience with contract negotiations
- Experience with Grievance procedures/timelines
- Experience and knowledge with Transportation (bids, replacements, routing, etc.)
- Knowledge of Buildings & Grounds, and Food Service operations
- Experience with School Building Construction Practices
- Maintain/safeguard all related records, reports, contracts and Board of Education Meeting documents
- Purchasing Practices
- Thorough working knowledge of Federal/State Taxes and Regulations
- Experience in Federal/State Grants Budget Preparation and Final Reporting
- Knowledge of pension rules/regulations
- Proficiency in Systems 3000
- Preparation of the Annual CAFRA Report
- Experience and knowledge of General Fixed Asset Program
- Preparation of Debt Service Data for NJDOE
