Voters to Decide $130 Million in School Construction on Tuesday
TRENTON, September 24, 2008 — More than $130 million in proposed school construction will be decided by voters in seven school districts on Tuesday, the New Jersey School Boards Association reported today.
State aid would cover more than $33 million of the proposed spending.
State law limits school special elections to five specific dates a year. The last remaining bond referendum date this year will be Tuesday, Dec. 9.
The following is a description of the bond questions on the Sept. 30 ballot:

Wall Township
Proposal 1: Construct a new early learning center and acquire land; renovations to the high school
Total amount – $35,940,565
Amount eligible for state reimbursement – $4,500,777
Proposal 2 (contingent upon passage of Proposal 1): Renovations to the high school athletic fields and facilities.
