The table above shows the pass and fail rate of construction
proposals according to the community’s equalized property tax rate. The New Jersey Division of Taxation provided
the equalized tax rates.
The figures exclude eight regional school districts that
encompass municipalities with above- average equalized tax rates and
municipalities with below-average equalized tax rates.
* In two districts where referenda consisted
of two questions, voters only approved one of the questions. In another district, voters acted on three
questions and approved two of the three.
