Field Service Representatives provide direct, on-site services at no cost to boards of education across the state. Our highly skilled team has experience in school board governance and responsibilities and can provide information and workshops on topics ranging from superintendent evaluations, board self-evaluation, goal-setting, community engagement, school finance and student achievement. Your district’s Field Service Representative can also tailor workshops and retreats to your board’s specific needs. Boards of Education receive credit through the NJSBA Board Member Academy toward Board Certification for this professional development.
In addition, on a fee-based structure, Field Service Representatives will provide specialized services in areas such as superintendent search, strategic planning, community planning and focus group facilitation.
Assist boards in all aspects of facility planning including identification of facility needs, conducting public forums for community input and moving forward after a referendum.
Designed and customized to meet individual district needs; guiding districts through all phases of plan development along with an annual review and update once the plan is completed.
Comprehensive search process with your Field Service Representative serving as a professional consultant, processing applications, providing complete and confidential support, developing search criteria, advertising placements , facilitating community input, interview questions and techniques to assist the board in finding a new school leader that will match the district’s identified needs.
Working with your community and the board on providing feedback in any area of district interest such as reconfiguration, goal setting, or consolidation/regionalization.
