On June 16, between 2 and 4 p.m., numerous schools and universities, state agencies, small, medium and large businesses, municipalities, trade associations and individuals will be voluntarily shutting off unnecessary lights and electrical appliances and equipment to save energy, reduce pollution and show their support for energy conservation.
