Candidate Seeks Position as NJSBA Officer
In accordance with Article V, Section 5 & 6 of the NJSBA bylaws, adopted by the Delegate Assemblies on March 10, 1973 and October 26, 1979, respectively, a proposed slate of officers selected by the Nominating Committee, as well as candidates nominated by petition, will be presented to the delegates for their vote at the delegates meeting on November 19.

According to guidelines set by the Board of Directors in September 1979, candidates for NJSBA officer positions, either selected by the Nominating Committee or nominated by petition, are to receive publicity in this special edition of School Board Notes.

The Nominating Committee has nominated Patti J. Pawling, Barrington, Camden County to fill the unexpired 2004-06 term as NJSBA president. No petitions were received.
