The New Jersey School Boards Association mourns the loss of Bernard Kirshtein, who died on November 2. Active in his community and a staunch supporter of education, Kirshtein was a member of the Pennsauken Board of Education for 27 years. He was also a past president of NJSBA and a former member of the National School Boards Association Board of Directors.

NJSBA extends its sympathy to the Kirshtein family and to the citizens of the Pennsauken School District who have lost a dedicated public servant.
