Members Needed for Federal Advocacy

Attend this year’s Federal Relations Network (FRN) Conference and have an impact on federal education policy!

On February 5-7, approximately 900 school board members from across the country will meet in Washington, D.C. to lobby Congress on the No Child Left Behind Act and federal education funding. A large contingent of local school board members from New Jersey will join the effort.

Educate Each Child: Build a Nation is the theme of this year’s conference, sponsored by the National School Boards Association. In consideration of new travel regulations affecting school districts, NJSBA is pleased to offer two options for local school board participation in this important event: Attend the full three-day conference; or join us on February 7 only for the Day on the Hill.

To find out how to join New Jersey’s growing FRN delegation and to register for the conference, contact Sarah Kohl by e-mail  or call 1-888-88NJSBA, ext. 5215.
