Workshop 2006 Program
Proposal Forms Available

Workshop will have a new face this year! You will soon read about new and exciting changes—including more learning and training opportunities than ever before. That’s where you come in. NJSBA wants you and your district to share your expertise with fellow school leaders throughout New Jersey.

Workshop 2006 Program Proposal Forms for group sessions and action labs were e-mailed to board members (for whom we have e-mail addresses), superintendents, and school business administrators. In addition, NJSBA sent hard-copy versions to superintendents and business administrators. The forms are also available on NJSBA’s Web site.

This year, both group sessions and action labs will be 90 minutes in length. But there will continue to be a major difference between their formats. Group sessions are large-group forums, during which the speaker or panel presents information on topics of current interest to board members and/or administrators, leaving time for questions. Action labs are small-group presentations (24 to 48 participants) that emphasize the application of specific skills by actively involving participants through hands-on activities.

The deadline for receipt of a group session and action lab proposal is March 17. If you did not receive a proposal form via e-mail, ask your business administrator for a copy, or click here.  For further information, contact Mark Bonjavanni, senior consultant, Inservice Education, at 1-888-886-5722, extension 5207, or by e-mail at mbonjavanni@njsba.org.
