NJSBA Posts Restoration Info

NJSBA’s Legal Department last week posted the Budget Review and Restoration of Reductions Memo, 2006-2007 on www.njsba.org.  The resource assists local boards of education in—

• Determining whether to apply for restoration of budget reductions made by municipal governing bodies.
  
  
• Clarifying the restoration process.
  
  
• Preparing applications for restorations of reductions.

The memo also provides a history of commissioner of education and court decisions addressing budget restorations.
