Program will explore regionalization from the perspectives of cost efficiency, governance, and educational opportunity. Speakers/panelists will include Dr. Ernest Reock, retired director, Rutgers University Center for Government Services; Michael Kaelber, senior counsel, NJSBA; Dr. Judith Ferguson, superintendent, Hopewell Valley Regional; Dr. Gerald Woeher, co-director of professional development, NJ Association of School Administrators.

Special Education Law: New ‘IDEA’ = Issues Designated for Explanation and Answers, 34th Annual Education Law Conference, Friday, May 12, 8:30 a.m. to 3:50 p.m. Lehigh University, College of Education, Mountaintop Campus, Bethlehem, PA.
Program will address changes in IDEA; over- and under-identification; juvenile justice; litigation; burden of proof; settlements; scientifically based research; resolving issues of child find, truancy and home-bound education; and High Objective Uniform Standards of Evaluation programs in PA and NJ. It will also feature a mock due process hearing.
