Veteran Bergen County board members Margaret Angeli (left), Teaneck, and Nancy L. Stern, Fort Lee, were honored for exemplary service at the county school boards association’s spring dinner on May 31. Stern received the 2006 Archie F. Hay Award, named after the former long-time county superintendent, and presented for local education leadership. Angeli, Bergen SBA president, received the 2006 Janet S. Lobsenz Award, named after the former NJSBA field service representative, and which is awarded for inservice training efforts.
