NJSMART Training Scheduled

The New Jersey Department of Education will launch training sessions later this month for its new statewide student database and tracking system.

Chief school administrators are encouraged to attend one of the sessions to help them fulfill the new data submission requirements, due in December, for the NJSMART program, which stands for New Jersey Standards Measurement and Recourse for Teaching.

The state education department will sponsor two identical sessions from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., and from 1 to 3 p.m. on the following dates:

  • Sept. 28, Monmouth County Office of Education, 3680 State Highway 9, Freehold.

  • Sept. 29, Bergen County Office of Education, Freeholders public meeting room-5th floor, One Bergen County Plaza, Hackensack.

  • Oct. 2, Gloucester County Office of Education, Ruh Center Conference Room, 1492 Tanyard Rd., Sewell.

  • Oct. 3, Atlantic County Office of Education, 6260 Old Harding Highway, Mays Landing.
