Jazz Band Entertains at Workshop

Members of the Overbrook H.S. Jazz Band (Pine Hill Board of Education) play to a packed audience during the Workshop 2006 Opening General Session on Oct. 25. The performance preceded an address by Dr. Phillip Boyle, an expert on local school district governance. Boyle talked about connecting to public values while attempting to improve student achievement. Close to 10,000 school board members, administrators, educators and exhibitors attended the annual training event in Atlantic City.
