Don’t Sacrifice School Quality – NJSBA
NJSBA officials praised Governor Corzine for his pledge not to sacrifice the quality of education as the state attempts to control property taxes.

Corzine Calls for New Funding Formula, Hard Caps, Incentives to Merge
New Jersey will be best served if it implements a new school funding formula in time for the 2007-2008 state budget, Gov. Jon S. Corzine said in his annual State of the State address on Jan. 9.

Special Session Bills Still Loom
In its first meeting of 2007, the state Senate on Monday held off voting on A-8/S-49, which would create a pilot county administrative school district.
