The New Jersey School Boards Association and ASAH...Serving the Private Special Education Community Since 1974 want our state’s leaders and residents to know more about the outstanding programs that serve the state’s 200,000 physically and learning-disabled students. As part of the 23rd annual celebration of Special Education Week in New Jersey, May 13-19, the two organizations are sponsoring Innovations in Special Education to highlight these successful efforts.
The Innovations program is open to public schools, educational services commissions, special services districts, charter schools and private schools for the handicapped.
Selected entries will be recognized at a ceremony during Special Education Week. Award recipients will also be featured in NJSBA and ASAH publications. Entries must be postmarked by March 26.
For additional information, call the NJSBA Communications Department at (888) 886-5722, extension 5202.
