The programs are sponsored by the state Department of Agriculture and New Jersey Action for Healthy Kids, a public-private partnership of more than 50 national organizations.

Grant Money The agriculture department also has grant money for school district nutrition programs. Attendance at the free workshops will count as credit in the grant criteria.

Workshops will be offered twice on each of the following dates, from 9:30 a.m. to noon, and from 1 to 3:30 p.m.

April 17: Morris County Police & Fire Academy, Parsippany

April 24: New Jersey Association of School Business Officials, Robbinsville

April 26: Egg Harbor Township Intermediate School, Egg Harbor Township
