As a service to its members, NJSBA has created a sample resolution and public notice that school boards could use as part of the process in renegotiating, extending, or altering a superintendent’s or business administrator’s contracts.

The samples will help school boards comply with the state’s new “school district accountability” law (A-5). The documents include language designed to legally protect a school district during its public hearing process and provide it with direction for public notices and publication schedules.
