Board of Directors to Meet

In accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act, notice is hereby provided of a meeting of the Board of Directors of the New Jersey School Boards Association. The meeting will be held at the Lakeside Conference Center, 900 Scudders Mill Road, Plainsboro, on Friday, May 18, 2007. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. with a presentation on high school redesign. The business portion of the meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m.

The meeting is open to the public.

The agenda, to the extent known at this time, will include discussion and/or action on the following: minutes of the March 31, 2007 meeting; Executive Director Search Committee report; update on Long Range Plan activities for 2006-2007; report of the Construction Review Task Force; approval of Architect’s Rendering of NJSBA headquarters; Governance and Operations Policy File Code 4148, Emergency and Disaster Preparedness; sunsetting of Governance and Operations Policies, 6000 Series (Programs and Services) and related polices; Governance and Operations Policies, Telecommuting, Flex-time and Working from Home; and technical changes to Governance and Operations policies.
