Has your district implemented an innovative school-community relations program? The Workshop 2007 School Public Relations Mini-Workshops are your chance to share your district’s best practices with school leaders from throughout New Jersey. Proposals must be received by June 29. The School PR Mini-Workshops consist of 30-minute, roundtable sessions that are presented twice within the one-hour timeslot. Last year’s presentations addressed engaging the community, involving parents and older citizens in the schools, working with the news media, communicating during a crisis, and gaining support for bond and budget proposals.
