Monmouth Board Member Served 26 Years

Jeanine Willis, a member of the Freehold Township Board of Education for the past 26 years, died July 24 at St. Barnabas Hospice, Long Branch. She was 67.

Mrs. Willis served as president of her local school board for seven years and vice president for six years. Executive director of New Jersey Youth Soccer, she was also a 40-year member of the Monmouth Council Girl Scouts; treasurer of the Monmouth-Ocean Soccer Association; and first vice president of the Battle of Monmouth Soccer Club.

She leaves her husband, three daughters and sons-in-law, and three grandchildren. Donations in her memory can be made to St. Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 95 Old Short Hills Road, West Orange, NJ 07052.
