Two NJ Charter Schools Among Nation’s Best

The Center for Education Reform has named the Hoboken Charter School and the Princeton Charter School among the best charters in the nation.

The center selected 53 charters among nearly 4,000 charter schools that were eligible for its National Charter Schools of the Year program.

Schools were evaluated on four criteria: achievement; planning and execution; satisfaction; and policies and programs. Each area included additional criteria, such as improvement over time; percentage of at-risk students served; meeting mission and goals; and parental involvement.

The Center for Education Reform is a Washington, D.C.-based organization that promotes charters and school choice.
