In accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act, notice is hereby provided of a meeting of the New Jersey School Boards Association’s Executive Committee. The meeting will be held at NJSBA Headquarters, 413 West State Street, Trenton, on Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2007, 6:30 p.m.

The meeting is open to the public.

The agenda, to the extent known at this time, will include action/discussion of minutes of the June 8-9, 2007 planning meeting; vouchers past 60 days; ratification of officers’ vouchers; Board of Directors-Districts’ Outstanding Dues; Lifetime Achievement Award; update on Governance and Operation 6000 revisions; review of proposed Board of Directors agenda for Sept. 14, 2007; update on Long Range Plan and Strategies for 2008 Goals; Selection of New Executive Director; Review of Transition Team Documents; Department Reorganization updates; Review of Monthly Financial Reports; Construction Review/Facilities update; debriefings of 2007 NSBA Presidents’ Retreat and Executive Directors’ Summer Institute; 2007 Workshop update; and an Advocacy update.

In addition, the committee will enter into closed session to discuss the Executive Director’s evaluation.
