Position Available: Negotiator

NJSBA seeks a Senior Consultant/Negotiator to provide: assistance in bargaining preparation; on-site representation of the local board in the negotiation of salary guides, mediation, fact-finding, strikes and job actions; and analysis of labor contracts, legislative proposals and salary guides. Position requires effective consultative skills; problem identification, analysis and resolution skills; and excellent writing/public speaking skills. BA or equivalent work experience is required; minimum five years experience in labor relations required; experience in public education is preferred. Evening and weekend work may be required.

Minimum salary is $68,086. The position includes medical/dental, retirement, disability and time-off benefits.
