Hunterdon Board Member Served 15 years

Theresa DeLorenzo, a member of the Bethlehem Township Board of Education from 1992 to 2007, died Aug. 15 after a battle with cancer. She was 64.

Terry was her local school board’s president for four years. She also served on the Executive Committee of the Hunterdon County School Boards Association, and on its scholarship and strategic planning committees. She was a delegate to NJSBA.

In May, she received the Maud Dahme School Board Member Recognition Award for contributions to the education of the children of Hunterdon County.

Terry worked at North Hunterdon High School since 1979. She is survived by her husband, four sons and their wives, five grandchildren, a sister, a brother, and numerous other relatives.
