In accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act, notice is hereby provided of a meeting of the Board of Directors of the New Jersey School Boards Association. The meeting will be held at the Robert Wood Johnson Center for Health and Wellness, 3100 Quakerbridge Road, Mercerville, at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, 2007.

The meeting is open to the public.

The agenda, to the extent known at this time, will include discussion and/or action on

minutes of the May 18, 2007 meeting, completion of Conflict of Interest and Board of Directors Certification Statements, Outstanding Dues in Board of Directors’ districts, Governance and Operations Policies 6000 Series Revisions, Lifetime Achievement Award, Construction Review update, Executive Director Search Committee update, 2007 Workshop update, Membership Survey update, completion of Questionnaire for President, recognition of former Board of Directors members, and reports of the President and Executive Director.

In addition, the Board of Directors will enter into closed session to conduct the current Executive Director’s evaluation, hire the new Executive Director and formalize the new Executive Director’s contract.
