Obituary: Dr. Boyle, Somerset ESC Superintendent

Dr. Thomas F. Boyle, superintendent of the Somerset County Educational Services Commission for the past 10 years, died Aug. 25 at the Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center in Plainfield. He was 60. 

He received a master’s in education from Kean University, and in 2004 he earned his doctorate in Educational Leadership from Nova University. He was previously the computer technology coordinator and a former teacher for the Warren Township Board of Education.

Dr. Boyle leaves a wife, three daughters, a granddaughter, mother and stepfather; and two siblings.
