Slow Census Response Delays Membership Cards

NJSBA membership cards will not be mailed to local school board members until late October after Workshop. The extra time is needed for school board secretaries to reply with updated information to NJSBA’s annual census information.

The census collects information on board members and terms; it is used to accurately disseminate information and to ensure attendance at mandatory training programs. Currently, a large number of school districts have not replied to NJSBA with the census information that was sent to them.

For more information, contact NJSBA’s Business Services Department at (609) 278-5296 or fax completed census forms to (609) 695-2934.
