Last week, the Hamilton Township Planning Board unanimously approved NJSBA’s application to build its planned headquarters/training center.
The new facility, which is expected to house NJSBA operations starting in 2009, will be centrally located in Mercer County, easily accessed via the New Jersey Turnpike and Interstates 195 and 295.
NJSBA’s Board of Directors approved plans for the new facility on May 18. The facility will include modern meeting space for NJSBA training programs and will have distance-learning capabilities. Its completion will fulfill a goal of NJSBA’s 2005-2008 Long Range Plan, which calls for a state-of-the-art headquarters building accessible to the membership.
The presentation to the Hamilton Township Planning Board was the culmination of months of preparation, many meetings and countless communications among Association professionals and staff, NJSBA’s Construction Review Committee, and Hamilton Township professionals.
