NJSBA to Sponsor Legislative Reception Jan. 8

NJSBA will host a Legislative Kickoff Reception on Jan. 8, following the swearing in of the new state Legislature. 

This event is designed to be an informal event that allows school board members to build positive relationships with their legislators. Board members will have the opportunity to meet with lawmakers and informally discuss issues pertaining to public education. Board members can also have their photographs taken with their legislators.

The event will be held at the Trenton Marriott, from 2:30 to 5 pm. Jan. 8, 2008. To register, contact Ann Marie Smith in NJSBA’s Governmental Relations Department at (609) 278-5215.
