NJ School Food Gets a B

New Jersey’s school food received a grade of B, according to a report by the Center for Science in the Public Interest, which ranked each state’s school nutritional standards.

Twenty states received an F and seven states received a D. New Jersey ranked eighth in the nation, as state requirements limit sugars and fatty foods in public schools. NJSBA has provided districts with clear nutrition and wellness policies.
