 Sharon Seyler, NJSBA legislative coordinator for advocacy programs, and Bill Sullivan of North Hanover, legislative committee delegate for the 30th district, speak with Michael Lari of Cliffside Park, 38th district alternate (at right), during the joint meeting of the Legislative Committee and County Association Leadership on Saturday in Hamilton. The two groups joined together for a presentation by Mike Vrancik, NJSBA director of governmental relations, on the School Funding Reform Act of 2008. In addition, the Legislative Committee discussed NJSBA’s grass-roots advocacy campaign, while CAL heard a report from Carl Tanksley, NJSBA counsel, about the impact of the Accountability Act of 2007 on travel and training.
