NJSBA Offers Advocacy Training

A series of regional NJSBA programs will help school board members effectively advocate and influence public education at the state level.

NJSBA will host six regional programs that will offer lobbying and advocacy tips and training; review current issues in education; and provide school officials with an “advocacy tool box.”

Two programs each will be held in the northern, central and southern regions of the state. Board members may attend any of the programs, which are free.

  • Tuesday, March 11: Hammonton High School, Hammonton, Atlantic County

  • Wednesday, March 12: River Dell Regional High School, River Edge, Bergen County

  • Tuesday, March 18: Colts Neck High School, Colts Neck, Monmouth County

  • Tuesday, April 1: Franklin High School, Franklin, Somerset County

  • Wednesday, April 2: Morris Knolls High School, Rockaway, Morris County

  • Thursday, April 3: Gloucester County Office of Education, Sewell

Each program runs from 7 to 9 p.m., with registration at 6:45 p.m.
