NJSBA Board of Directors to Meet

In accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act, notice is provided of a meeting of the NJSBA’s Board of Directors. The meeting will be held at the Robert Wood Johnson Center for Health and Wellness, 3100 Quakerbridge Road, Mercerville, at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 14. 

The meeting is open to the public. 

The agenda, to the extent known at this time, will include discussion and/or action on: minutes of the Jan. 11, 2008 meeting; the 2008 Legislative Agenda and Action Plan; the 2008-2009 NJSBA budget; Governance and Operations policies on remote committee meetings, Officer/Board of Directors/staff reimbursements, emergency office closing and conversion of vacation days, staff transfers, and use of the Association credit card for Officer/staff travel. Other agenda items include: bylaws amendment on county school boards associations; final report of the ad hoc Committee to Study the Delegate Assembly, Sussex County School Boards Association resolution on board member recall; reports of the Officers, Executive Director and Construction Review Committee; and update on resolutions received for the May 17, 2008 Delegate Assembly.
