	NJSBA Board Places Moratorium on New Facility Considering the impact of recent state law affecting board member training and travel, as well as a downturn in the economy, the NJSBA Board of Directors on March 14 voted unanimously to place a moratorium on the planned construction of a new headquarters and conference center.

	The 2008 Annual School Election—Your Vote Is Essential School board members may find this information helpful when communicating to their community about the significance of the Annual School Election. March 25 is Voter Registration Deadline Residents who are not registered to vote have until Tuesday, March 25 if they want to participate in the 2008 Annual School Election.

	Recommending Changes to the DA Daniel Sinclair, chairman of the ad hoc Committee on the Delegate Assembly, presented the committee’s findings to the NJSBA Board of Directors on March 14. NJSBA Sending DA Video to Boards NJSBA’s most recent video production—on the in’s and out’s of the Association’s Delegate Assembly—will be arriving in school boards’ mailboxes throughout the state.
