	Proposed High School Changes Deserve Immediate Attention Marie S. Bilik, NJSBA’s executive director, applauded the recent work of the New Jersey High School Redesign Steering Committee and said the panel’s recommendations deserve “immediate attention.”

	Thirteen Schools Honored for Innovations in Special Education Thirteen New Jersey schools will be recognized for creative special education programming through the seventh annual Innovations in Special Education program next month.

	Court: Labor Contract Language is Key A New Jersey Appellate Division panel recently issued two labor rulings involving mid-term terminations of custodians.

	Legislative Days Program to Provide Access to State Lawmakers NJSBA is offering members three opportunities for local board members and school administrators to network with state lawmakers, observe the legislative process and to advocate for their public schools.

	Live Webchat with NJSBA President Kevin E. Ciak, president of NJSBA, will host a live webchat from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday, May 12, when he will be able to answer board members’ questions about the Association, its plans and its future, challenges facing boards, and how NJSBA can help.
