Thirty-one school board members have achieved the status of Certificated Board Members for 2008 through NJSBA’s Board Member Academy program.
To receive the certification, board members must have served at least one full term on their local board and earned at least 20 credits covering the core topic areas of board relationships, policy, curriculum, school finance, school law, labor relations and board operations.
The Certificated Board Members will be honored at their respective county school boards association spring meetings.
