School Board Member of the Year Nominations Now Being Accepted

In recognition of the exceptional dedication to public education and leadership that New Jersey’s school board members display on a regular basis, NJSBA is sponsoring the fourth annual New Jersey Board of Education Member of the Year award. The award honors a board member who has:

  • Made significant contributions to education
  • Exemplified leadership in education with a strong commitment to the children of the state
  • Demonstrated a strong commitment to his or her personal and professional development as a board member
  • Shown active involvement in school governance at the local, county and state levels

The winner will be recognized at the Workshop 2008 conference in Atlantic City in October.
