NJSBA’s Officers, other Strategic Planning Committee members and staff members explored prospective goals and strategies for a Long Range Plan that will guide the Association through 2011 during a special meeting on Saturday at the N.J. Ben Spinelli, director of smart growth planning for the Department of Community Affairs (top) and Dr. William King, assistant commissioner for the state Department of Education (bottom with NJSBA President Harry J. Delgado), provided overviews of educational, political, economic and demographic trends and issues that will affect local boards of education over the next three years.
