In accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act, notice is hereby provided of meetings of the Audit Committee and the Board of Directors of the New Jersey School Boards Association. The meetings will be held at the Robert Wood Johnson Conference Center, 3100 Quakerbridge Road in Mercerville, on Friday, Sept. 19, 2008. The Audit Committee meeting will begin at 6 p.m.; the Board of Directors meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. The meetings are open to the public.

The Board of Director’s agenda, to the extent known at this time, will include discussion and/or action on: minutes of the May 16, 2008 meeting; NJSBA’s 2008-2011 Strategic Plan; Legislative Committee vacancies; Resolutions Subcommittee vacancies; Governance and Operations Policies File Codes 4111.8, Nepotism, 4113.11, Flex Time, 4162.2, Vacation Leave Accumulation and Advancement, 8260, Executive Committee Member Expenses, 4147, Employee Protection/Safety, and 4114, Resignation Notice; Conflict of Interest Statement; Certification-Board of Directors Code of Conduct; reports of the Officers and Executive Director; and 2008 Workshop and Advocacy updates.
