NJSBA Welcomes New
Field Service Representative

Susan McCusker recently joined the staff of the New Jersey School Boards Association as a Field Service Representative. She will be serving boards in Sussex, Hudson and Passaic counties and in parts of Bergen County.

Susan was a member of the Mountain Lakes Board of Education for ten years, and its president for five years. Earlier, she served on the Eatontown school board for two years, including one as its vice-president.

A Master Board Member, Susan has been active in NJSBA for several years, acting as a group leader at New Board Member Orientation and Leadership conferences, as well as presenting Action Labs on special education topics at Workshop. She has also been a member of the Association’s special education committee. She is a graduate of Brown University and earned her masters degree at the University of Texas at Austin. She is currently a resident of Hoboken and is the mother of two children.
