The meeting of NJSBA’s Board of Directors took place on Friday, Nov. 21, 2008 at the Wyndham Princeton Forrestal Hotel & Conference Center, Plainsboro. Action taken at the meeting included the following:

• Administered oath of office to Everett Jennings, Patricia Arthur and Avery Grant.
• Approved open and closed session minutes of the Oct. 17, 2008 Board of Directors meeting.
• Debriefed on Oct.18, 2008 Board of Directors retreat and 2008 Annual Workshop.
• Reviewed demonstration of NJSBA electronic system for the Delegate Assembly.
• Received reports of the President and Executive Director.
• Conducted CHAT discussion on NJQSAC.
• Determined CHAT discussion topic for Jan. 23, 2009 Board of Directors meeting.  Discussion topic: Educational Leadership in Tough Times.
• Determined summary items for Board of Directors members to report to county associations:

  1.	Accomplishment of strategic plan to increase attendance at Delegate Assemblies,
  2.	CHAT discussion on NJQSAC, and
  3.	CHAT discussion for Jan. 23, 2009 Board of Directors meeting.
