Davy Issues Full Draft of Accountability Regs 

Commissioner of Education Lucille Davy filled in the missing elements of the Accountability Regulations in a 178-page document on Nov. 17.  The Department of Education’s “final draft” addresses areas such as travel, budget caps, school finance and the powers of the Executive County Superintendent in the areas of regionalization and the oversight of budgets and employment contracts.  

The full draft of the regulations is available at the Department of Education Web site. A thorough analysis from NJSBA of the regulations will be forthcoming after the final regulations, rather than the final draft, version is posted.
