NJSBA at Your Service: Salary Guide Check

Your district’s salary guide can be a strategic tool for implementing district goals such as attracting high-quality candidates, retaining valued staff or encouraging your staff’s continued academic preparation. It also establishes a foundation for future salary negotiations with your employees.

School boards facing labor negotiations can make use of NJSBA’s salary guide services.  As part of your board’s membership dues, the Association’s Labor Relations Department can perform an initial analysis of the expiring guide as well as an initial analysis of a proposed new guide. Consulting on guide construction, negotiations of new guides and subsequent analyses of proposed guides are available for additional fees.

For more information contact Curt Wary, director of the Labor Relations Department.
