New Leaders of Legislature’s Education Committees

Assemblyman Patrick J. Diegnan Jr., left, incoming chairman of the Assembly Education Committee, recently met with NJSBA lobbyist Barbara Horl and Michael Vrancik, NJSBA’s director of government relations.

The vice-chair of the Assembly Education Committee will be Joan M. Voss. Other committee members include Ralph R. Caputo; Elease Evans; Mila M. Jasey; Joseph Malone; Paul D. Moriarty; Ruben J. Ramos Jr.; Scott T. Rumana; Brian E. Rumpf; Bonnie Watson Coleman; and David W. Wolfe.

In the Senate Education Committee, Sen. Teresa M. Ruiz will serve as chair; Jim Whelan will be vice-chair; and other committee members include Diane B. Allen; Thomas H. Kean, Jr.; and Shirley K. Turner.
