School board members will have the opportunity to interact with Acting Education Commissioner Bret Schundler at NJSBA’s Regional Town Hall Meeting on March 6 in Harrison.
“The State of New Jersey’s Schools: Regional Town Hall Meeting” promises to be a live, interactive dialogue with decision makers at the state level. Also joining New Jersey’s new education commissioner will be Assemblywoman Mila M. Jasey, member of the Assembly Education Committee.
The program is slated to run from 9 a.m. to noon March 6 at Harrison High School, Harrison. The format will provide the guest speakers the opportunity to speak about pressing education and budget issues facing New Jersey schools this year, followed by a panel discussion open to local school officials.
A second Regional Town Hall Meeting is scheduled to run from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 13 at Glassboro High School, Glassboro. The guests for that program have not yet been confirmed.
The program is free, but registration is required.
